Ceramic corundum tubes are commonly used in the field of heat treatment industrial furnaces, such as high-temperature vacuum tube electric furnaces, vacuum atmosphere furnaces, tin bath tubes for float glass industry, protective tubes for solar glass, electric furnace wire support tubes, chlorine pipes for aluminum trichloride industry, muffle furnace tubes, etc., with a temperature resistance of up to 1150-1800 ℃. Characteristics of Ceramic Corundum Tube Products
1. Good wear resistance: Due to the inner lining layer of corundum ceramic (a-AL2O3), the Mohs hardness of corundum ceramic wear-resistant pipes can reach 9.0, which is equivalent to HRC90 or above. Therefore, grinding media transported in industries such as metallurgy, power, mining, and coal have high wear resistance. Through industrial operation, it has been confirmed that its wear resistance life is ten or even dozens of times that of quenched steel.
2. Corrosion resistance and anti scaling: Due to the ceramic layer of the steel being (a-AL2O3), it belongs to neutral characteristics. Therefore, it has acid and alkali resistance, seawater corrosion resistance, and also has anti scaling properties.
3. Good temperature resistance and heat-resistant punching performance: Due to the single stable crystalline structure of the corundum ceramic (a-AL2O3). The coefficient of linear expansion of the material is 6-8 × 10-6/0C, which is about half of that of steel pipes.
Alumina ceramic 95~99 ceramic materials have excellent insulation properties, low high-frequency losses, and good high-frequency insulation; Aluminum oxide ceramics are non combustible, rust resistant, sturdy and not easily damaged, with excellent properties that cannot be compared to other organic and metallic materials. The wear resistance of alumina ceramics is the same as that of corundum, reaching a Mohs hardness level of nine, and its wear resistance is comparable to that of superhard alloys. The heat resistance of alumina ceramics is characterized by low thermal expansion coefficient, high mechanical strength, good thermal conductivity, chemical corrosion resistance, and molten metal properties. The products have reached the leading level in China.
